Sabers survive Central

Shakopee juniors Scott Hauer and Dylan Ulferts hooked up for a late fourth quarter touchdown as the Sabers defeated St. Paul Central 28-21 on Friday night.

The game was tied at 14-14 at halftime when Shakopee's Jake Weber scored a 1-yard touchdown on fourth down in the third quarter. The Sabers mixed the extra point to go up 20-14.

Central answered right back on the next drive to take a 21-20 lead.
