STAFFORD, Conn. -- The hour-long drive for the visiting team proved worthwhile in Stafford on Friday night.

The Stafford/East Windsor Bulldogs hosted the Housatonic/Wamogo Mountaineers.

Bulldog Jake Rummell's touchdown run tied the score at 14, but the Mountaineers answered back.

Later in the first half, Will Kennedy took it out the single wing set without a quarterback and got in for the score. That's when Housatonic/Wamogo was up to stay.

the second half, Kennedy intercepted the Stafford quarterback, which set up a touchdown for his brother, Tom Kennedy.

The Moutaineers went on to win 37-20, and the Kennedy brothers combined for four touchdowns.
