Bluefield jumped ahead of Chapmanville 21-0 in the first quarter and after that it was never in doubt. The Beavers cruised to a 41-18 win.

Bluefield will meet Scott in next week's semifinals.

James Monroe trailed 7-0 at halftime to Magnolia but used two second-half Ernie Tincher touchdowns to pull it out 13-7.

After a blocked punt Tincher ran in from one yard out to tie the game at seven.

Then with three minutes remaining in the game, Tincher broke a 64-yard touchdown run to put the Mavericks up 13-7 after the missed extra point.

Magnolia had one last attempt on fourth-down and fifteen with under a minute to play but Tincher came up with an interception on defense to end the game.

James Monroe will meet Wayne in next week's semifinal round.
